About the role:
As an Asset Data Coordinator, you will play an essential part in recording and reporting on our network and asset data across the North Canterbury region to energise our community. In this role you will be responsible ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our asset data across our GIS and TechOne systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordination of asset data location and connectivity in GIS system
- Ensure data accuracy of the asset register and work management system
- Support data audits to maintain system and data integrity
- Engage with internal stakeholders to deliver excellent service
- Contribute to health, safety, and environmental initiatives
About you:
We would love to hear from you if you have a passion for data or GIS and looking to begin or progress a career in this field. With several upcoming exciting projects to we strive to put data at the heart of our business. Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
Additionally, you will have:
- exposure to geospatial data and GIS systems
- an eye for detail
- excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- the ability to read and update data from technical documentation
- the skills to work collaboratively across the business
- previous experience in a utility network is desirable
