Expression of Interest – Graduate Engineers & Summer Engineering Internships

One thing we know for sure – electricity is the only source of clean green energy.  By combining our talented people with our distribution, generation, and retail brands we are making a difference through innovation and creativity.  Linking our people and our brands with the country’s need for clean energy, we have a clear roadmap that will drive our performance to the forefront of our industry and support NZ achieving its net zero target by 2050.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for future graduate and internship opportunities. Our programmes are designed to offer ongoing training and mentoring from across the organisation. You will work alongside experienced professionals in multidisciplinary teams and gain hands-on experience using industry standard toolsets across a variety of projects. These opportunities will help you develop your skills, gain valuable experience, and enhance your engineering capabilities.

Please note our offices are in Rangiora (not Christchurch City). MainPower also has a mandatory shut down period of approximately two weeks across the Christmas and New Year period.
