Job Description

About the role:

You will be accountable for leading the management accountant team in producing financial reporting and analysis to meet the internal and external needs of the Company and its subsidiaries. Take a primary role in supporting the business with monthly divisional reporting, fixed asset processing and process improvement. You will also be responsible for the preparation of the annual budget and continuous improvement in development of the budget process, forecasting medium and long term cashflows and performance, financial modelling, and setting a professional standard for the rest of the team in all facets of your work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial insight and support to the wider business to achieve Company strategy
  • Continuous Improvement of systems and processes
  • Budget and Forecast Management
  • Statutory Compliance

About you:

Our ideal applicant would be proactive, energetic and positive. You should be self-motivated, driven, able to work and motivate to meet the team goals, and cope under pressured deadlines. You will have outstanding communication and be a good team player with a questioning, inquisitive, challenging, problem solving mindset.

Additionally, you will bring:

  • Chartered Accountant and a member of CAANZ or similar organisation or in pursuit of qualification.
  • Proven experience in management accounting at an intermediate to senior level.
  • Proven experience with managing teams
  • Proven experience in business planning and preparing operational budgets with experience in rolling forecasting.
  • Have experience with large ERP systems, desirable.
