Job Description

About the role:

We're looking for a bright spark who can help us electrify our communication, internally and externally. While assisting with the development and execution of MainPower's communications and engagement initiatives you'll also support our amazing customer engagement team. We do a power of work in the sponsorship area, so you'll be a community-focussed 'people person' who is an organising whiz, to help us with our sponsorship portfolio.  This is an on-site position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Plan, edit and write content for various external and internal communications mediums
  • Support the coordination and production of corporate and regulatory documents
  • Assist with media planning and buying, including creating and coordinating advertising
  • Digital content creation and delivery
  • Support the Customer & Corporate Relations Team with customer engagement initiatives
  • Event planning and delivery
  • Responsible for overseeing and coordinating administrative tasks

About you:

You'll be a detail-oriented professional with exceptional written and verbal communication skills and experience working across the full Microsoft Office suite. You should excel in organisation, multi-tasking and solutions-focused problem-solving with a customer-centric approach. You'll be self-motivated with a good sense of humour.

Additionally, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in a related discipline e.g. communications, journalism, business or marketing and/or demonstrated experience in a related role.
  • Valid Driver’s Licence.
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and reporting skills.
