MainPower Customer Advisory Panel - Expression of Interest

We’re looking for 12 community-minded individuals to help shape the future of energy in North Canterbury. To find out what it is expected please click here to read the position description. 

MainPower is establishing a Customer Advisory Panel to ensure our decisions reflect the needs, values and aspirations of the communities we serve. The panel will include representatives from across Waimakariri, Hurunui and Kaikōura, bringing diverse perspectives to help guide our customer engagement, service delivery and sustainability efforts.

Who should apply?

We’re seeking people who:

  • Live or work in the MainPower network area
  • Are passionate about their community
  • Can represent a particular sector, demographic or geographic area
  • Are willing to share insights and listen to others
  • Can commit to attending 3 - 4 meetings per year

What’s involved?

Panel members will:

  • Attend quarterly meetings (in person or online)
  • Provide feedback on MainPower’s plans and services
  • Help identify community needs and opportunities
  • Act as a conduit between MainPower and their community

This is a voluntary role, but travel costs will be covered and refreshments provided.
